My husband is amazing. After receiving a job offer with money far less than the industry standard, but with benefits far above, I was disheartened. And then Ryan called me and changed all that. He reminded me that the money that I earn does not determine my worth, nor the worth of my skills. He reminded me that the Lord is the one who takes care of us, and how we are more blessed than many other people in the world. He turned my eyes back to the things that matter, and I am delighted.
I start work on Monday. How exciting!! What to wear . . .

Remember. Social Work... the most rewarding type of work some would say. And yet... the least paid job. If I determined my worth via income... well... I probably wouldn't be getting homeless people off the streets.
