I'm not quite sure if I should be proud of my ingenuity or ashamed of the need, but in cleaning out my fridge yesterday, I used the vacuum to get out the gross stuff.
I clean my fridge regularly, whether it needs it or not, at least once every two years.
Does this make me a bad person?
I'm so NOT the "scrub it" cleaning kind of person. I'm the tidying type of person. If the shampoo bottles are arranged nicely, who cares about the soap scum on the shower door. If the books are straight, do they really need to be dusted? And who really washes windows anyways . . .
Ok, I guess a lot of people do.
So I guess I need to jump on the wagon with some deep cleaning chores. Martha Stewart has some awesome cleaning checklists on her website. Checklists make me happy. With every check I feel a sense of personal accomplishment and success. Hmm, maybe I should start checking things off just to see if it would have the same effect without actually doing the work . . .
I'll let you know :o)
