Tonight, I attended a forum on campus entitled May I Kiss You? Obviously from the title, asking in regards to physical intimacy was the main topic.
Why don't women ask if they can kiss a guy?
because it's socially not expected
it may ruin the moment
afraid of rejection (which can happen anyway)
she may be seen as forward . . . and therein lies the truth: She doesn't want to be looked on as loose, or easy.
Why don't men ask if they can kiss a woman?
it doesn't seem manly
it may ruin the moment
afraid of rejection
he may sound like a weenie . . . and therein lies the truth: He doesn't want to be viewed as less manly. It's all about IMAGE!
Now if a woman approaches her man and asks if she can kiss him, what man in his right mind is going to say no? It's a dream come true! And if a man shyly asks his girl if he can kiss her, not only is it kind, respectful and romantic, but it makes almost every girl in the world let out a romantic sigh. What better reaction could there be than that!
So why are we not asking? We would ask if we were going to take a $5 bill from someone's wallet, so why not ask when it comes to another person's body?!
Do you ask? Have you ever been asked? What stops you from asking now?
Be bold.
Be respectful.
Be honest in your intentions.
It's gutsy.
It's darn right attractive.
