We have purchased our tickets, our hotels have been reserved, and I couldn't be more excited. The dollar's dive keeps making the trip more and more expensive, but its nothing the "stimulus plan" check won't help. What a load of bull - millions of paper monies with no actual currency to back it up, further deflating our dollar, to give the illusion of medicating our government's greed problem. Yuck.
Anyways, back to Italy: Saturday, August 23rd, depart from Seattle. Arrive in Paris. 2 nights in Paris just to whet our appetite, and to seduce us back as soon as possible. Then a quick hop over to Venice via Ryan Air, a 6 euro flight :o). 3 nights in Venice, then train down to Florence. 3 nights there. Train down to the Amalfi coast for 3 nights in Positano. Then train back to Rome for our last 3 nights. Yipee! Horray! Yehaw! I couldn't be more excited.
