Mornings Giggles

As I write this, it is 6am. Ryan is just getting up for work-coffee in tow, getting into the shower. If there were a shelf for his coffee IN the shower, I'm sure he'd use it. Little Julia slept for a fairly good length of time, and so this is midnight for all intensive purposes for me. If she does that same amount of sleep again, I just might call it a good night's rest. But there she is, swinging away, awake as can be. She gets bigger and chubbier every day. Currently, she is blowing bubbles and talking to her baby friend in the mirror-not asleep, thus the post. Her sounds are magical. They are tender and soft, yet funny and giggly. Ryan keeps popping in to laugh about how adorable she is. I dearly wish she (we) were asleep, but these little moments together as a family in the mornings are just about as refreshing and snuggly as any bit of sleep could be.
