So last week about killed me. I'm not even kidding. We had 21!!!!! 4+ year olds. Some schools are on mid-winter break so we had all of these older, rambunctious siblings that normally don't go to class. I'm talking 9 years olds in with teeny tiny little 4 year olds. They were running around and chasing each other in a tiny classroom and bumping over these little ones and it was just a total mess! I had one mom helper and she was a total space cadet. Oh my goodness. It was just a 2-1/2 hour long disaster.
ANYWAYS, this week, we had . . . .31 kids!!!!!!!!!! Can you believe that?! More mid-winter break. This time I had two mom helpers, but the amazing thing was that it was a GREAT DAY! It was organized. The kids were well-behaved. Everything went GREAT!!!! I am so thankful. We even did a lesson and prayer requests. My regular "handful" kids were relative angels. It was a serious miracle, that's all I can say.
Our normal class size is around 18 kids, so to have 31 and have it go well was just such a gift. I think I might have burst into tears if it went like last week again :o/
But it didn't. And now I won't die. Yay!
