My Buddy

First of all, I just need to shout out my hatred of Blogger's new dashboard. Yuck already!

But enough of that!! :o)

My Buddy.

Kevin, Ryan's Dad, is my special buddy.

For some reason he's always been really tender and transparent with me which is nothing like the Kevin the rest of the world sees. He and Carolyn just spent the last 5 days with us and Kevin and I had some really sweet times together.

He's been struggling recovering from surgery and being out of work and on disability etc . . . so today, we figured out his life.

He lit up as we walked the aisles and Home Depot and said he'd really love to work at Home Depot part time - just to share his knowledge and help people, and then coach baseball part time. So with my last few hours, I have sent him all the info on how to apply online, checked with Social Security to see how much money he can earn without being penalized, and transferred that data into approximate hours per week and salary estimate. I have also Google stalked the 6 athletic directors for the schools in his area that he could coach at, e-mailed them and continued to research on other private leagues. I have found him links to his certification courses, and included some FAQs that I found when poking around that might help.

Why do women like to fix men? I just really really like helping disorganized men get back on track. Maybe its because they just take the help and appreciate it. Maybe I'm just a "starter." I think that's exactly it. I'm a fire starter. I like that!!
