Julia talks all the time. It starts the moment her eyes open in the morning and she usually giggles herself to sleep at night. Often, when I get her in the mornings or after her nap, she says, "So good to see you." What a sweetie.
Well yesterday, she took the sweetie to a new beautiful level. When I walked in, she said, "Julia is already a big sister." She leaned down to put her head down on her crib rail as I asked her if she was a big sister to the baby in mommy's tummy, and before I knew it, she was actually kissing my tummy, not playing with her crib.
Out of the mouths of babes . . .
How amazing that she is already so aware of being a big sister (even though we haven't really drilled that in yet), and that she already knows there is a baby in mommy's tummy.
Wow, we are so blessed to have a treasure like Julia. What a joy!
