This morning I woke up to a bustling house! Jerret, Erika and baby Judah were over to start cooking wings for tomorrow's big church picnic/bbq. We made and enjoyed breakfast together then the boys got cooking! There are few things lovelier than watching a husband cook. Its just marvelous. Anywho, we all spent the morning together and it was lovely. Its nice to do life with others. It helps they live mere blocks away :o)
Then we started to chat about the 7 "days" of creation. I've started BSF (Bible Study Fellowship), which I am SOOOO excited about, and threw some of the questions their way. It got us into a pretty cool discussion about the days of creation, and then I dug into my study bible's notes, and quite frankly, am having a good old time studying the word! I think I've struggled much because I haven't had real direction. Well, now I do! And then some :o) I really am excited about BSF.
So we ate our breakfast, had some family play time, cooked a bazillion wings, and then all headed down for naps. But my pregnancy bonkersness makes me always tired, but hard to fall asleep. So here I am, balancing our check book, eating lunch, and simply relaxing in a quiet house filled with the people I love.
I like days like this.
