Good things and bad things. But more good. That's what I like.

Yesterday was an interesting one. Autumn was to get here about noon, with a wonderful Portland afternoon ahead of us. I worked with my Grandma all morning and was ready to see my long lost friend. No show. Well, that stunk. So, I spent my afternoon running errands, and spent a long time at the library, mostly due to the fact that my best friend Sharon called mid browse.

I went home, painted some jars to become delightful vases at our new apartment and caught some rays via the privacy of a fenced in yard :). Last night was spent with family and was good, but still a let down from the Rose Gardens, Powell Book Store, Thai food and Autumn in Portland. But God is still good.

Today, however, WAS FABULOUS! I woke up late and headed to my grandparent's house. Today was ramp-building day. We also celebrated my birthday and I have never had such an amazing celebration with perfect gifts, a fabulous table, great cake (which was Key Lime Pie) and the best family in the world. I was blessed beyone my imagination with wonderful apartment wonders and some great jewelry. Later, mom, Aunt Barb and I went by Goodwill and I got the most amazing pair of pink sunglasses. If I can post a picture, I will. (I am still learning.)

Then, after all that, I went to the gym. I ran 3 1/2 miles today and I think I just might die. I hit the wall to say the least but kept going. I wanted to quit so many times, but I didn't. I finished my workout an hour or so later and am here only by the grace of God. Which is the truth.

Mom just walked in. I love her so much! What a blessing she is. So loving, so caring. Woman. Wo Man. WHoaaaa man.

More later . . .

I am sorry it didn't work out for you and Autumn but something tells me the two of you will be rejoicing together soon.
