Cherry Blossoms and Joyful Water

I just got back from a beautiful walk around Greenlake. I tried to make it a prayer walk, but my mind is so distracted - and still in training. I came up and over the little hill by the theater and saw the most beautiful sight I have seen in a LONG time. The path was flanked by at least 10 cherry trees on each side, all in full bloom, with daffodils at the base, surrounded by fresh green grass with sprays of those little grass daisies. The lake was crystal clear and shining as was the sun. I stopped for a minute on a little jetty and heard the water joyfully lapping against the sidewall and it made me think about the sounds of praise. The water, playfully sliding around, smacking against the wall was a peacefully energizing sound, much as I imagine the praise of Heaven to be. It has been a lovely morning. And now I am quite ready for a nap.
