Today is Jessica's Birthday

She has turned 22. The big deuce-deuce. After class (which is where I am) we are headed to B & O Espresso for a mini feast. I love Jessica Yaholkovsky. I love her for her warmth, her shining and unwavering character, her vulnerability and her strength. I love who she is when she is tired and scared and overwhelmed, and I love who she is when she feels beautiful and sassy. She is my dear friend who I would not be the same without. Through the next 80 years of my life, my heart will continue to be warmed by thoughts of a lovely lady that I met the first weekend of college as she drove me back to school after spraining my ankle at a choir retreat. Jessica, I love you today and forever. Happy Birthday.
