Tonight Ryan and I had a "meeting" with our wedding officiant, also known as his ultimate best friend and amazing man, Scott Gillespie. He and Laura are up in Seattle for a week or so before they head down to our wedding and her belly is big with twins! As she napped on the couch after stuffing her face full of rice thick with Yasuko's teriyaki sauce, she placed her vote for brownies in her sleep :o)
We went to dance lessons then met Scott up at El Diablo (Dizzle) and had an amazing talk. We went over wedding details and came up with some fun ideas and he asked to pray for us. It's funny, I feel like Scott is the very first person that has offered to pray for Ryan and I together. It was wonderful.
I feel rejuvenated about wedding fun, and Scott has already taken care of some wedding details not yet completed. This guy is awesome. Ryan was his ace at his wedding, and now Scott is being our ace. How fantastic. Yay for encouragement.
