Baby Blankets

I've been making baby quilt/blankets lately, and I get more and more excited with each one! I love thinking about and praying for the little one as I stitch away. So fun!!!

I'm not a huge "quilt" fan - I think they are so stiff and uncomfortable, so I piece together a front and then use a deliciously snuggly fabric for the back.

This is my first quilt - made for Amber and her surprise baby (who turned out to be THOR!!!)

This is my second - for my step-sister Erin and her baby Vivian (coming this week!!!)

My third was for Erika and Baby Judah - coming in January!! My first rag quilt. I loved the pirate monkey fabric :o)

This is the one in progress. Jessie is having a surprise named Harper in January. Their kids' bedroom is Dr. Suess themed. She has this crib bedding and wanted something to match:

This is the loose diagram of my plans (which consequently changed drastically when I feel in love with certain fabrics and then laid it all out on the floor last night :o)

These are the fabrics!!!

I can't wait :o)
