Some pregnant women "nest." I think I just went Y2K crazy. I've been crazy focused on Emergency/End of Life Preparedness. Weird, right?
Here's what I've been up to:
1. Writing our wills. Morbid, but good. Its so hard to think those thoughts, especially about what would happen to our kids.
2. Preparing our important phone numbers.
3. Preparing ID pages for each member of our family with medical info, birth date, photos, birth marks etc . . .
4. Getting a financial overview ready which includes all account locations, amounts, liabilities, car values etc.
5. Writing up a home inventory with basically everything we own. We'll also take a video of our entire house (thank heavens its small!)
6. Creating a family evacuation plan with who packs what in the car if we have to get the heck outta dodge
I'll be putting all these and piles and piles of important documents into a binder with insurance info, ID documents etc., that will go into a bolted and locked fireproof and waterproof safe.
