Happy Thoughts

Jackson's sneezes come in two's.

He slept 7 hours in a row one night.

I love the mole/birthmark on his left cheek. It's the perfect spot for kissing.

I love when Jackson's feet poke out of his pajamas during midnight feedings and they touch my tummy or my legs and we get that little skin-to-skin snuggle moment.

Julia's curls. Enough said.

Julia put her hand on sleeping brother's tummy the other day and said, "Dear Jesus, thank you for Baby Jackson."

Jackson's name has awesome rhymes: The ergo is the Jack Pack. When I feed him, it's a Jack Snack. When he ravenously chomps - it's a Jack Attack.

Ryan has begun a new series of made up stories called "Mattie Mouse" and Julia excitedly asks for one EVERY night.

I had a wonderful chat with my dad yesterday. They are few and far between but always special.

I haven't had Vicodin in two days. That's huge.

People keep bringing us dinners. It's the best gift ever. Seriously. It's been amazing.

My dear friend is cancer-free. This is a huge joy/relief!

Another dear friend is moving home from 2 years in Hawaii ... TODAY!

I have been loving my CBS bible study. I cannot wait for next year - we'll be studying Hebrews, Job and Galatians!

Ryan and I have been having so much fun having late night talks and giggles. I love being married to such a silly and fun friend.

I've lost 25 pounds. I want to lose another 20, but am still very pleased with the first 25 dropping off so nicely. Yay nursing!

And my biggest happy thought for today: both kids are napping . . . at the same time. Hallelujah!
