I don't know where it came from, but we started a little thing in our house called "Birthday Week." For a week surrounding your birthday, you get pretty much whatever you want. For Ryan's birthday week, it was things like dreaming of a late night PB&J in bed, and asking me to get it . . . because it was birthday week :o) And I obliged because 1. I love Ryan, and 2. My birthday would come just a few short months later! Ha!
So my birthday week has been awesome so far.
I got to go spend 3 days this week with my Dad in Sequim. That was amazing.
Friday night, we got a date and played tennis, then we lounged in the grass regardless of Ryan's protest . . . because it was birthday week :o)
Then we got a milkshake and pie at Shari's. My choice . . . birthday week.
Yesterday (Saturday), we did some errands, got me a bike!!!, then we went to dinner at one of my favorite places in the world and Ryan had to hold my hand for the duration of our walk afterwards - the whole time!!! . . . birthday week :o)
Then home for a movie. My choice. And icecream, Ryan dished it.
This morning, he made me breakfast. Now I'm getting some alone time in bed while he plays with Jules.
Then tonight, I head to downtown Edmonds for a little ladies night out, sans bebe. Hurray!
What an awesome birthday week!!! And what an awesome husband!!!
