This morning I woke up from a night of tormented sleep. Bad dreams, waking up angry and in general not wanting today to happen, hoping I could program my TiVo for tomorrow and keep sleeping. In psychology we are reading about how sometimes you can force yourself into a good mood by smiling even when you don't want. So that's what today has been. For the first time in a long time, I actually prayed for joy - not something I am used to lacking. But here we go. This is life, right?

Christi and Dan are having a baby.
Thomas is becoming a man which is oh so weird.
Sharon is starting school.
Rory has his first day in Seychelles as a Naval Officer.
Jessica is starting clinicals today.
And I am starting a career.
