Today has been a big day. And I'm not just talking about my newly-made Finals Study Plan hanging on my wall.
I sold my very first boat job today worth over $17,000.00! I am a real live designer. Sue (the client) asked me how many boats I had worked on. I smiled as I told her this was my first :) Thank you Jesus.
Then, as Unlimited practice for Tradition was ending, Michael asked me if I wanted to go to a Christmas party with him. For once, I actually said yes. I decided I would be proactive about life and meet new wonderful people. So after my run, I came home and after a two second shower was out the door . . . to a party that is next week :) We laughed it off and saw a friend who lived across the street.
Back home, I ate pretty much half a bag of chips and got a call from Brandon Prior. Brandon is a friend of Chris Clark (in Umlimited). Ryan Mullaney (the first date from a month ago) is also one of Chris' friends. So anywho, Brandon called and kind of chatted. I thought I knew what was coming, do you wanna go to coffee and a movie? but I was totally WRONG! He asked me to go to the Nutcracker with him on the 17th! Totally suprised. We're talking out of the blue like crazy. I met this guy in October, went to a mutual Halloween party and here's this call. So we'll see.
And now, as the chips are hitting my post-run tummy, I must homework-ify.
