The stages of a wound:

Something entices you towards danger and you act upon that temptation.
Something goes not as planned.
A respectively small cut seems to end life as we know it.
You feel pain.
You wish things didn't happen as they did.
So you pick yourself up and clean your wound.
Clean and disinfect. Not a nice process.
A bandage.
The cut gets a little hard as the blood clots.
Neosporin moisturizes and helps the wound.
It gets a little sticky and red. Very tender. Not very appealing.
Slowly the skin begins to meld back together.
This is the scary part because one little pressure and the cut can tear open again, and be even more painful.

What has been your wound? How was it bandaged? Did it ever get cleaned out? Has it healed yet?

Today has proved that my wound is not healed. It is very tender. As a matter of fact, I think it got pulled apart tonight. And it hurts. I need Christ to come and protect me. Will this ever heal?
