BABY REGISTRY!

I just spent two hours with a dear friend and mom-to-be, helping get her baby registry done. I had so much fun. I know Julia is only 18 months, but it all seemed so long ago that Ryan and I were doing this for ourselves. I compiled a list for her of my must-haves. The things I never thought would be must-haves when I registered were:

40" swaddling blankets! Seriously folks, most regular store swaddlers/receivers are 30" - and consequently, completely useless. Totally too small. Such a cute, but frustrating waste!! Swaddle Designs are definitely the best.






Medela Micro-Steam Bags. Oh. My. Goodness. The absolute best way to clean bottles and pacifiers!!






Ergo Baby Carrier. Notice how it goes front AND back? Love it! We did the Bjorn, and not the "comfort" model either. Oh my aching back. Next time... :o)






Nipple Shields!! Saved my life. Painful, but true. Also, shout-out to nipple cream.






I know women in the olden days didn't have this stuff, and they apparently survived. But wow. I don't envy them :o)
