April the whateverth. The day after Easter. Palm Sunday + 8. Not yet May. How's that for ya'?

Anyways. It's been a day already. You'd think that in a place like this, stress wouldn't happen. But it does. I have been working on my construction plan for my drafting class and it is being so troublesome! The eraser is leaving permanent boogers on my vellum, I don't have my t square here, Dad is giving me pointers that are so beyond irrelevant to the project that I can't even get mad, and, well, I miss you people!

There is something about being in a wonderful place without those you love (or at least most of them) that knocks the wind out of my sails. I wish I could share special moments with each of you. But do you know what makes me really happy?

MY SUNBURN TURNED TAN! Talk about veering into another subject lane. I woke up and most of the red was gone! So I have stayed out of the sun today. My hair is pulled back in a fun curly bun with flowers tuck all around. I feel so, so, local! Ha ha.

Anyways, Dad and Jenny are coming down to the hotel soon (which is where I am now) and we're gonna go out tonight (which basically consists of walking down the road and being rather dissappointed in the rest of the island but gloating at how wonderful our Hotel is). I believe it will be burgers at the Water's Edge restaurant.

I wrote a fun e-mail to Rory today. Dad and I have been talking about the whole situation a lot. No wisdom as of yet. Prayers welcomed. No, prayers coveted. Prayers, hmm, deliciously entertained, how bout prayers welcomed with open arms and a warm place to stay. And cut.

Anywho. All my love to you. Each of you. Since there are many many many of you ;)

Yeah. I'm done. Really. Bye. Stop reading! It's over.

Made you look!
