Palm Sunday church notes. Good word.

- Humans are wired for worship. We are designed to enjoy the beauty and character of God.

- Similarly, we are programmed to admire greatness, beauty etc.

- Appreciation of beauty and greatness always brings us back to God whether we know it or not.

- “Ever man who knocks on the door of a brothel is searching for God.” – Chesterton

- Psalm 98:
4 Shout for joy to the LORD , all the earth,
burst into jubilant song with music;
5 make music to the LORD with the harp,
with the harp and the sound of singing,
6 with trumpets and the blast of the ram's horn-
shout for joy before the LORD , the King.

7 Let the sea resound, and everything in it,
the world, and all who live in it.
8 Let the rivers clap their hands,
Let the mountains sing together for joy; 9 let them sing before the LORD ,
for he comes to judge the earth.
He will judge the world in righteousness
and the peoples with equity.

- When the Pharisees tried to hush the disciples and follower's worship of Jesus Christ as he rode in on the donkey, he rebuked them and said that if not, the rocks would cry out in adoration and praise. Children were worshipping him. They weren’t told to. They did because it was in their soul.
